What is mappable content?

Before discussing what to enter, first let's discuss what we don't map. We do not map in the following

• introductory material.
• notes or explanatory text.
• whole parenthetical sentences or paragraphs

When you encounter whole sections with only the type of content listed above, skip it and move on.
The main priority is of compliance mapping is to map the actionable items within an Authority Document, i.e. the mandates. For this reason and because Citation Entry is currently a manual process, we focus on the sections of Authority Documents that contain mandates.
