The citation hierarchy is the final task in all mapping projects. The way that citations are arranged in the hierarchy determine how they appear in the in-depth report, which is how clients see the document in the CCH. When reviewing the hierarchy, approvers look for the following:
Are the citations in order? (based on the structure of the document)
Are citations placed at the appropriate level? (subsections are children of sections, sections placed under headers where applicable)
Are multiple mandate citations arranged by citation ID in ascending order?
Are there any missing citations?
Are there any duplicate citations ?
Are there any reference errors?
Are the document restrictions set properly?
