Approval and rejection of a citation hierarchy

The citation hierarchy is the final task in all mapping projects. The way that citations are arranged in the hierarchy determine how they appear in the in-depth report, which is how clients see the document in the CCH. When reviewing the hierarchy, approvers look for the following:

  • Are the citations in order? (based on the structure of the document)

  • Are citations placed at the appropriate level? (subsections are children of sections, sections placed under headers where applicable)

  • Are multiple mandate citations arranged by citation ID in ascending order?

  • Are there any missing citations?

  • Are there any duplicate citations ?

  • Are there any reference errors?

  • Are the document restrictions set properly?
