For verb phrases (terms containing multiple words), conjugate the main verb even if it is not the last word in the phrase. (see examples below)

Past

A form of a verb that describes actions that have already happened and can be used as an adjective (typically ending -ed, -d, -t, -en, or -n.)

Past Participle

A form of a verb that describes actions that have already happened and can be used as an adjective (typically ending -ed, -d, -t, -en, or -n.)

Present Participle

A form of a verb ending -ing.

Third Person

The -s conjugation of a verb.
